Visum Recruitment are proud to be representing our client, a well-established industrial distribution business, who are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Branch Manager to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving sustainable business growth by developing existing customer accounts, securing new business opportunities, and ensuring the branch achieves its commercial objectives. Alongside managing sales performance, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch, leading and developing the team while maintaining exceptional customer service and operational standards.
Branch Manager Job Overview

- Prepare and present quotations, tenders, proposals and commercial presentations to prospective and existing customers.
- Conduct customer meetings, site visits and presentations to strengthen relationships and secure new business.
- Monitor branch performance against KPIs, implementing improvements to drive operational efficiency and profitability.
- Maintain high standards of customer service, ensuring the branch operates efficiently while upholding the company’s professional reputation.
- Support the wider business by contributing to strategic objectives and undertaking additional responsibilities where required.
Branch Manager Job Requirements
- Proven experience in a Branch Manager, Sales Manager or similar leadership role within industrial distribution or MRO markets.
- Strong background in business development, account management and technical sales.
- Demonstrable track record of achieving sales growth and commercial targets.
- Previous experience leading, motivating and developing successful teams.
- Commercially aware with the ability to identify market opportunities and develop growth strategies.
- Self-motivated, ambitious and target-driven with a proactive approach to relationship building.
- Previous experience within the Industrial Component Distribution sector and/or MRO markets.
- Full UK driving licence.
