Associate Recruitment Consultant – Aerospace MRO

Mobility Division – Matchtech – Whiteley, Fareham (HQ)

This is an opportunity to join Matchtech’s Aerospace division, working on a specialist Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) desk – a sector experiencing sustained global growth driven by record aircraft demand and long-term industry expansion.

You’ll join as a Trainee (Associate Consultant) with a structured pathway to become a Sales Consultant within 12 months.

The Opportunity

You’ll join an established MRO desk, initially focusing on candidate delivery and market learning, before progressing into a full 360 Sales Consultant role. Your progression plan:

0–6 Months – Trainee Phase

  • Learn the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle
  • Source and engage candidates for live roles
  • Build talent pools across the MRO sector
  • Support experienced consultants on client delivery
  • Generate leads and market intelligence

6–12 Months – Development Phase

  • Build ownership of candidate pipelines
  • Develop relationships with high-demand MRO professionals
  • Gain exposure to client interaction and requirements
  • Start developing commercial and sales capability

12+ Months – Sales Consultant

  • Move into a 360 role
  • Manage clients and generate revenue
  • Build and grow your own desk

Market Specialism

You will recruit for highly sought-after MRO roles including:

  • Licensed Aircraft Engineers (B1 / B2)
  • Aircraft Maintenance Managers
