We’re hiring a part-time AI Insurance Research Analyst for AI Insurer Brief.

This is a paid remote side project for someone sharp, structured and strong at using AI-tools for research, synthesis and analysis. It is suitable for someone looking for a serious part-time role or side project alongside other work.

We are not looking for a senior advisor or high-level strategy consultant for this role. This is an analyst / associate-level role. It is best suited to someone who is hands-on, practical, comfortable with detailed research, and looking for a serious part-time project alongside other work.

Ideal background:

Ex-Big 4, consulting, financial services, insurance, insurtech, research, strategy or data.

You’ll be researching:

  • how insurers, brokers, MGAs and insurtechs are using AI
  • which vendors are active across the insurance value chain
  • where AI is creating value
  • which use cases are mature vs hype
  • what risks and governance questions matter

Requirements

You should be strong at:

  • Happy working in a lean, early-stage environment
  • Looking for a part-time role or serious side project
  • Able to work independently without heavy supervision
  • Comfortable using AI tools daily for research and synthesis
  • Structuring messy information into clear frameworks
  • Verifying sources and avoiding AI hallucinations
  • Using tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, NotebookLM or similar
  • Building structured databases in Notion, Airtable, Google Sheets or similar
  • Turning research into useful insight for senior insurance leaders

Starting commitment: 5-10 hours per week

Format: remote, paid research sprint

Potential: longer-term role if the fit is strong
