What We Are Looking For
- We need a “sponge for information”, someone who takes proactive ownership of their own learning, craves product expertise, and possesses the technical aptitude to master complex medical ranges.
- 3–5 years of proven sales experience, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Must have experience selling medical devices, medical equipment, capital equipment, or high-value technical solutions into clinical/hospital environments.
- Experience managing, training, or joint-selling with distributors or channel partners is highly desirable.
- Exceptional telephone manner and flawless writing skills for tenders and presentations, paired with strong face-to-face demonstration capabilities.
- Proficient with CRM systems. A full UK driving licence is required, along with a willingness to travel extensively across the UK and occasionally internationally.
What You’ll Be Doing as Account Manager / Manufacturer’s Representative, Medical Capital Equipment
- This position balances strategic office-based pipeline management with extensive field-based activity across the UK, alongside occasional travel to Europe and Asia.
- You will act as the face of the manufacturer to support, coach, and raise the capability of distributors across the UK through structured training and joint field activity.
- You will proactively manage and convert capital equipment opportunities ranging from £30,000 to £150,000 (up to £300,000) within NHS and private clinical environments.
- You will deliver high-impact product demonstrations, manage equipment trials, and close deals alongside your distributor partners.
- You will utilise your exceptional written communication skills to respond to complex NHS/private tenders, draft training notes, and build compelling presentations.
- You will seamlessly bridge the gap between distributor requirements and your internal technical team to ensure flawless project delivery.
