SEN Teaching Assistant

Camden | September Start | Full-Time, Long-Term

We are a leading education agency partnering with a highly supportive and inclusive primary school in Camden, and we are looking for a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team this September on a full-time, long-term basis.

The Role

  • Full-time SEN Teaching Assistant role starting September 2026
  • Long-term position with potential for permanent opportunities
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN
  • Support children with needs such as autism, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver personalised learning strategies
  • Help create a structured, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs and support engagement
  • Encourage positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and social development

  • Experience working with children with SEN
  • A patient, resilient, and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
  • Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
