The successful candidate will join a specialist Chemistry and Life Sciences focused group, advising a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from start ups through to major multinational organisations. The role offers significant exposure to direct client work, with a strong emphasis on building trusted client relationships and taking early responsibility for your own caseload. .Key Responsibiliti

  • esDrafting and prosecuting UK, European and international patent applications across chemistry related field
  • s.Managing a varied portfolio of clients within the chemical, pharmaceutical and life sciences sector
  • s.Providing advice on patentability, validity, and freedom to operat
  • e.Working closely with clients to understand technical developments and commercial objective
  • s.Handling a high level of direct client interaction and relationship managemen
  • t.Supporting opposition and appeal work where require
  • d.Collaborating with colleagues across wider IP practice groups and technical specialist
  • s.Contributing to business development initiatives and wider team growt
