Douglas Scott Legal Recruitment is representing a leading London law firm in its search for a talented Employment Associate (2-4 PQE) to join its highly regarded Employment & Partnerships team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious associate seeking high-quality work, close partner exposure and the chance to advise a premium client base spanning businesses, family offices, senior executives and partnerships.
The Team:
The Employment & Partnerships team is recognised for advising on complex and strategic employment matters for employers, senior executives and partners. The practice sits within a market-leading private wealth platform and works closely with clients ranging from family offices and partnerships to corporates and high-net-worth individuals.
The successful candidate will work closely with leading partners in the team and gain exposure to a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, often involving sensitive and high-profile issues.
The Role:
The role offers a varied practice with work including:
- Advising employers on a broad range of employment law issues;
- Acting for senior executives and partners on exits, disputes and restrictive covenants;
- Partnership matters, including admissions, retirements and disputes;
- Employment support on corporate transactions;
- Advising family offices and private clients on workforce matters;
- Conducting workplace investigations and handling contentious matters (experience in investigations is advantageous but not essential).

The Ideal Candidate:
The successful candidate will:
- Have between 2-4 years’ PQE in employment law gained at a leading City, regional or specialist employment practice;
- Possess experience advising both employer clients and individuals;
- Have exposure to partnership and senior executive matters, or a genuine interest in developing this expertise;
- Demonstrate strong technical ability and commercial awareness;
- Be collaborative, proactive and keen to build long-term client relationships.
