About QOVES

QOVES is a technology company pioneering facial aesthetics, helping consumers make smarter beauty decisions. Every day, people make important decisions about their appearance based on guesswork or generic advice. We help them decide with clarity instead. Our platform gives customers a clear, science-backed understanding of their face, paired with bespoke advice on how they can look better. Our work reaches millions: more than 2.5 million people follow QOVES across platforms and most importantly, our customers are delighted, with 4.8 stars across 600+ reviews; we believe this reflects the care and sensitivity with which we approach everyone who comes to us for guidance. We’re a profitable, growing company headquartered at The Library in London, with a team across the globe. What guides us is simple: people deserve more than one-size-fits-all advice when it comes to their appearance. Every decision we make (from the science behind our models to the way we communicate results) is grounded in evidence, responsibility, and a broad, inclusive understanding of beauty.

About the Role

We are hiring our first in-house Talent Acquisition Specialist to own recruitment end to end. You will not wait for applications to arrive; the core of this role is proactive sourcing, finding and engaging strong candidates who are not actively looking and persuading them to join us. You will run the full hiring process, from writing the brief with hiring managers through sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews and assessments, and supporting offers.

We hire across a mix of technical and non-technical roles, both here in London and across a distributed international team, so you will need to move comfortably between very different searches. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role based with the team at The Library in London, and you will shape how we attract talent as we scale.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience sourcing passive candidates directly, not just managing inbound applicants. You can point to specific hard-to-fill roles you closed and explain how you found the people.
  • Experience owning the full recruitment lifecycle: briefing, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer support.
  • Confidence recruiting for technical roles, including engineering, and the ability to hold a credible conversation with technical hiring managers.
  • Strong candidate assessment judgement and the ability to filter for quality quickly and fairly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with outreach that gets responses from in-demand candidates.
  • Highly organised, able to run multiple live searches at once without dropping candidates.
  • Comfortable working on-site with the team five days a week.

Nice to have

  • Experience hiring across international or distributed teams and managing a contractor workforce.
  • Familiarity with structured, funnel-based hiring processes and applicant screening tools.
  • Experience recruiting in a startup or fast-paced product environment.
  • A network you can tap into from day one.

Why Join

  • Build the talent function from the ground up and own how we hire as we grow.
  • Direct impact on the quality of every team across the company.
  • Work on-site with a collaborative team at The Library in London.
  • High trust and high autonomy; you will own your searches end to end.
  • Eligible for a quarterly performance bonus.

Compensation and Logistics

  • Competitive compensation, based on experience.
  • Full-time, on-site at The Library, London, five days a week.
  • Eligible for a quarterly performance bonus.
