We are working with a reputable, design-led architecture studio seeking an Experienced Residential Architect to join their team, focused on delivering high-quality residential projects across London and the United Kingdom.

This is a well-regarded, design-focused studio working across housing, urban design and large-scale residential frameworks. The team is recognised for its thoughtful approach to density, layout optimisation and placemaking, balancing commercial realities with a strong design ethos. Projects range from masterplan-led residential schemes through to detailed housing delivery. The culture is collaborative, open and structured, with a strong emphasis on design discussions and mentoring.

The Role

You will play a key role in developing residential layouts from concept through to detailed design. Working closely with senior architects and urban designers, you will help translate strategic visions into coordinated, buildable schemes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop grid-based residential layouts across feasibility, concept and planning stages
  • Contribute to housing design, including unit mix, typologies and block configurations
  • Produce clear, coordinated drawing packages using Revit
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to resolve planning and design constraints
  • Support presentations, design reviews and client submissions

Requirements

  • You are an ARB-registered Architect with RIBA Chartered Membership, or equivalent
  • You have strong experience in UK residential or housing-led projects
  • You are confident using Revit in a professional environment
  • You understand urban design principles, layout planning and density strategies
  • You communicate clearly and contribute positively to team discussions
