Key Account Director (Facilities Management)
London – Site Based Role
ISS Facility Services UK are now seeking a Key Account Director (KAD) with a strong Facilities Management background, to lead and drive the successful delivery of high-value FM, to one of their new Banking accounts in London
The role carries full accountability for the contract, ensuring operational excellence, strong client relationships, and sustainable commercial performance. This is a pivotal leadership role requiring a strong focus on delivering measurable outcomes while maintaining high standards across all service lines. The Key Account Director will play a central role in optimising contract performance, embedding innovation and efficiency, and strengthening long-term client partnership
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage large, complex facilities management contracts across single or multiple sites, with full accountability for delivery and performance
- Ensure all contractual deliverables, KPIs, and SLAs are consistently met or exceeded
- Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with senior client stakeholders, aligning service delivery with client objectives
- Lead the delivery of all facilities services in line with contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements
- Take full financial responsibility for the account, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and profit and loss performance
- Drive operational efficiency and profitability through effective resource planning and continuous improvement initiatives
- Lead, develop, and mentor operational managers and wider teams to create high-performing, engaged workforces
- Identify and deliver opportunities for service enhancement, contract renewal, and commercial growth
Professional and Personal Competencies
- Proven experience leading complex, high-value contracts within Facilities Management
- Strong commercial acumen, including full P&L ownership, budgeting, forecasting, and margin improvement
- Experience managing multi-site operations within fast-paced and evolving environments
- Demonstrated success in leading and developing large, diverse teams, including operational and supervisory employees
- Strong understanding of contractual obligations, SLAs, and KPIs, with hands-on experience in performance monitoring and reporting
