We are partnering with a leading global hedge fund to hire a People Operations Lead. As the firm continues its expansion across Europe, they are seeking an experienced professional to take ownership of the delivery and ongoing enhancement of core HR operations across the EMEA region.
The ideal candidate will be an ambitious self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, demanding and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of People Operations across EMEA, overseeing onboarding, employee lifecycle changes, payroll inputs, mobility and off boarding.
- Drive international mobility and relocation processes, ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- Partner closely with wider HR and centre of excellence teams to deliver seamless support.
- Act as the escalation point for complex employee matters, ensuring a high-quality employee experience and operational excellence.
- Lead HR operational projects, process improvements and vendor management initiatives to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
Experience:
- At least 8 years’ experience in HR Operations, People Operations or HR Service Delivery, within Financial Services.
- Strong understanding of the employee lifecycle and HR operational best practices in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
- Experience supporting EMEA, with exposure to international mobility and multi-jurisdiction HR processes.
- Strong HR systems experience, with Workday knowledge preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred/
- A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent organisational, problem-solving and relationship building skills.
- Knowledge of SMCR, remuneration regulations and broader regulatory requirements is highly desirable.
