A superb opportunity is available for a dynamic and experienced Media & Communications Disputes Senior Associate to join a sought-after firm, highly regarded in the media and communications space.
The firm’s Media & Comms Disputes team is consistently recognised as Band 1 and Top Tier in both Chambers & Partners and The Legal 500, offering exposure to high-quality work with well-known clients, including newspapers, broadcasters, publishers, production companies, streaming and social media platforms, and media insurance companies.
The Role
- The predominant focus will be on defendant media litigation, although there is also work in wider commercial litigation matters.
- You will manage your own caseload while also supporting the Partners across the wider team.
- The team is defendant-focused, although candidates with strong claimant-side experience will also be considered.
- The work will include defamation, privacy, data protection, contempt, IP-related disputes, clearance and pre-publication advice, media litigation and wider commercial disputes.
What You Will Bring
- A dynamic and driven Solicitor with 4-6 PQE strong defendant based Media and Communications litigation
OR
- A dynamic and driven Solicitor wiht 4-6 PQE very strong Commercial Litigation experience and a passion to move into the Media litigation space.
- Experience gained in a well-recognised London firm
- Experience in non-media litigation, including commercial, insolvency or corporate disputes, would be advantageous but is not essential.
