The Role
We are looking for a Junior Photographer & Retoucher to join our in-house creative team. Based at our Farringdon studio in London, you will support the production of high-quality product photography and retouching for our website, marketing campaigns and social media channels.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for detail and a passion for luxury product imagery. Working as part of our creative team, you will be responsible for producing accurate, high-quality imagery that showcases the unique beauty and craftsmanship of our antique and vintage jewellery.
This is a full-time, permanent, onsite position, working Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Photograph antique and vintage jewellery for our website and marketing channels.
- Retouch product images to an exceptional standard, ensuring accurate colour, detail and consistency.
- Prepare, organise and export imagery for use across digital and print platforms.
- Assist with lighting, camera set-up and studio preparation for product photography.
- Maintain an organised image library and ensure all assets are correctly archived.
- Carry out quality control on imagery to ensure it meets Berganza’s visual standards.
- Support the wider creative team with photography and studio tasks as required.
Skills & Experience
- A minimum of 1 year’s professional experience in image retouching.
- A portfolio demonstrating high-quality retouching work is essential.
- Experience using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
- A good understanding of colour correction, image masking, cleaning and non-destructive retouching techniques.
- Basic photography experience and confidence using professional camera equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong appreciation for quality and accuracy.
- Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced studio environment.
- An interest in luxury products, jewellery or heritage brands would be advantageous.
