Operations Control Analyst

Fixed-Term Contract (14 months) | Full-time| Core hours 8:30am – 5:00pm

About the Role

We’re looking for an Operations Control Analyst to join our Operations team on a 14-month fixed-term contract. You’ll take day-to-day ownership of key operational controls and regulatory reporting processes, playing a vital role in keeping our trading and settlement activity accurate, compliant, and well-controlled.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Maintaining and overseeing cash and position reconciliations
• Managing daily transaction reporting tasks under MiFIR, EMIR, and HKTR
• Handling fails reporting
• Setting up and maintaining controls around counterparty cash instructions
• Identifying client assets for segregation
• Substantiating, distributing, and processing custody and broker fees and interest payments
• Distributing CSDR penalties
• Reviewing and overseeing custodian accounts
• Managing transaction confirmations
• Coordinating divisional management information (MI)

What We’re Looking For

• At least 3 years’ experience in an investment banking or brokerage environment
• A clear understanding of sell-side Operations processes and controls
• A solid grasp of the purpose of cash and stock reconciliations
• Experience with transaction reporting and/or regulatory change
• Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Office
• Great communication skills
• An ambitious, proactive mindset
