Job Description:

The Company

Our client is a global architecture, urbanism, and design practice with studios across four continents. Known for delivering ambitious, award-winning projects that shape cities, communities, and public spaces, the practice brings together multidisciplinary expertise to create places that are both beautiful and enduring. With a culture rooted in collaboration, innovation, and design excellence, this consultancy works alongside some of the world’s leading developers, governments, and institutions — from masterplanning entire districts to shaping landmark public realm. The practice thrives on complexity, and its international reach means every project carries genuine global ambition.

The Role

We are seeking an exceptional Landscape Director to lead and grow a landscape architecture offer across an exciting portfolio of international projects. This is a senior leadership role that sits at the heart of the practice, working closely with architects, urban designers, and planners to deliver integrated, world-class environments.

You will take creative and commercial ownership of landscape projects from inception through to delivery — directing design across multiple geographies, mentoring a talented team, and building meaningful relationships with clients worldwide. You will play a key role in winning new work, shaping design strategy, and ensuring that landscape thinking is embedded at every stage of the design process.

Typical project typologies span urban masterplans, mixed-use developments, waterfront regeneration, corporate campuses, cultural institutions, and large-scale public realm, with live projects spanning Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and beyond.

About You

You are a highly accomplished landscape architect with a track record of delivering complex, design-led projects at an international scale. You bring both creative authority and commercial acumen, and you are as comfortable presenting to a government minister as you are reviewing technical details on site.

You will likely have:

  • Chartered membership of the Landscape Institute (or equivalent international qualification)
  • Significant experience at director or associate director level within a multi-disciplinary practice
  • A strong portfolio of delivered international projects across a range of scales and typologies
  • Proven experience leading and mentoring design teams
  • The ability to build and sustain client relationships across different cultural contexts
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to represent the practice at the highest levels
  • A genuine passion for integrated design and an understanding of how landscape shapes the wider built environment

You are collaborative by nature, ambitious in your design thinking, and energised by the opportunity to build something meaningful within a globally respected practice.
