Our environment is based on respect and having a good day at work, so you can expect to join a knowledgeable, global team who help each other to succeed.Due to continued growth, our workshop in Kintore is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated person to support the team with NDT, dimensional inspections and, ideally, weld inspections.Job ResponsibilitiesNDECarry out Non-Destructive Tests on Welds, Structures and Materials (MPI, LPI, DPT, UT)Material testing (Hardness, PMI)Interpret and evaluate test results in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and customer specifications.Prepare accurate inspection reports and maintain proper documentation of findings.Maintaining NDE Equipment, ensuring equipment used for inspection is calibrated, maintained, and fit for purpose.Assist in the calibration team in doing in-house calibration and verification of outsourced calibration activitiesCoordinate with engineering, quality, production, and workshop personnel regarding inspection requirements and results.Inspect components dimensionally and visually based on drawings and datasheets in line with current processes and proceduresReview and report on product quality non-conformance reports (NCRs) and system failures to drive continuous improvements and reduce failure costsVerify that equipment manufactured, assembled, tested within the facility conforms to applicable specifications and agreed customer requirementsMaintain quality relationships with key functions of the company, including fulfilment, engineering, projects and procurementSupport development and maintenance of the local Quality Management SystemCompliance with project HSSE Plan, Quality Plan and related requirementsProvide CWI support when required for all the welding-related activities on site. (CSWIP would be advantageous)Support the QC department in meeting inspection and documentation requirements when required.Quality AssuranceReview/Approve or reject all supplier documents in ERP systemInspect consumable components (Verification, dimensional, etc) in accordance with standard part requirements and drawingsPerform receiving inspections of incoming materials and/or products, customer propertyManage efforts to reduce the Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) by implementing effective solutions in collaboration with relevant teamsSupport global quality standards, objectives, and goalsQualifications and TrainingNDE Level II – (MPI, LPI, UT)CWI or CSWIP would be advantageous (or ability to achieve)Counterbalance Forklift certificate (B1) (Training can be provided)Experience in the usage of gauges, such as calipers micrometers and hardness testers to measure and inspect products (metric and imperial)Experienced in manufacturing quality, quality control, quality assuranceSkills and AttributesStrong attention to detail and accuracyHigh level of integrity and professionalismGood understanding of safety and quality requirementsAbility to interpret codes, standards, and technical proceduresStrong observational and analytical skillsGood communication and reporting skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamSound judgment and decision-making abilityStrong organizational and time management skillsCommitment to maintaining certifications and technical competenceProblem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvementAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesFlexible and adaptable to changing work prioritiesQuality-focused with a proactive approach to identifying issueIf you have a can-do attitude, willingness to learn and enjoy being part of a close-knit team, we look forward to receiving your application!#J-18808-Ljbffr…
