Key Responsibilities

• Support the Registered Manager with daily operations
• Lead, motivate, and develop the staff team
• Ensure high standards of safeguarding, care, and compliance
• Drive positive outcomes for young people
• Build effective relationships with families and professionals
• Oversee care plans, audits, and quality assurance processes
• Support rota planning and staff coordination

Requirements

• Experience working in a children’s residential home
• Confident in leading or supervising staff
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and children’s home regulations
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Level3 Children & Young People qualification (Level5 desirable or willingness to work towards)
