Overview

A practicing quality professional with good knowledge and experience in the delivery of projects in a highly regulated industry. Working as part of multiple project delivery teams supporting Quality Managers within the business to ensure that business level quality requirements and improvements are identified and delivered effectively and to process, plus supporting to ensure projects and contracts within the organisation are managed within the bounds of the agreed procedures, and that project quality requirements are maintained. As part of the Project Management Office, the role reports into one of two Quality Managers, but will be expected to support both Business and Project level quality requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Project Quality Lead shall be responsible for all QA and QC matters on projects, supporting the requirements of the Project Quality Team and the Business Line Quality and Improvement Team as needed.
  • Deliver tasks and give expert advice to ensure that quality requirements across the business are delivered successfully.
  • Project Quality Assurance: Input into project specifications; author and manage Quality Documentation; manage Project Deliverables; collate Project LFE and LTR; review ongoing Sub‑contractor Quality documentation; liaise with Sub‑contractors and Client; support Internal Audits and Client Audits; monitor KPI; conduct Project Quality Grading.
  • Project Continuous Improvement: manage Cost of non‑conformance; lead Continuous Process improvement; develop and implement Change Management Support.
  • Corporate Quality Representation: support Internal Audit and Governance; manage Company Systems; represent Business Line on Corporate Strategy and change projects; provide External Audit support; communicate Corporate Quality.
  • Business Line Quality Support: produce data to support Business level Quality KPIs; support Business Line Quality Communications; manage Business Line Quality Process, Procedures & Guidance; assist QMS & PMO LFE process; gather Stakeholder feedback and process improvement; support Internal Audit provision of Business Line Governance & Assurance; tender support; knowledge management.
  • Business Improvement: lead Continuous business improvement using Lean / Six Sigma; support Process improvement; reduce cost of non conformance.

Qualifications

  • Candidate has demonstrable experience in aspects of Quality & continuous improvement including: Lean / Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping LFE, Stakeholder Feedback and Governance / Internal Audit, QMS/IMS development / Management, authoring of Quality Management Plans and related documentation, knowledge of process improvement and problem‑solving methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, 8D).
  • Identify, report and advise on risks and opportunities associated with meeting Client regulatory and legal requirements and stakeholder expectations within a project.
