An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Consultant Psychiatrist CAMHS to join a specialist mental health service in Great Waltham on a full‑time basis. This role is ideal for an experienced CAMHS Consultant who is passionate about delivering high‑quality care to children and young people with complex mental health needs, while contributing to a positive, forward‑thinking clinical culture.

Responsibilities

• Take overall clinical responsibility for a defined CAMHS caseload.
• Lead on specialist psychological assessment, formulation, and evidence‑based interventions for children and adolescents with complex mental health presentations.
• Provide expert consultation, guidance, and leadership to the multidisciplinary team, supporting safe, effective, and person‑centred care.
• Contribute to service development, clinical governance, and quality improvement initiatives.
