Job Summary: We are recruiting reliable HGV 1 drivers. We are extremely busy with ongoing and potential full time agency work – We will work around your availability! You will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations (mostly refrigerated). This position requires excellent driving skills, 12 months experience and a strong commitment to safety. _experience of refrigeration deliveries an advantage._ Responsibilities: – Safely operate a commercial vehicle – Loading and unloading stock using appropriate equipment may be required – Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving – Inspect vehicles before and after each trip, reporting any mechanical issues or damages – Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery times – Communicate effectively with transport office and other team members – Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding transportation and safety protocols Qualifications: – Valid driver’s license, CPC and Tachograph card – Proven experience as a HGV driver or delivery driver for 12 months – Ability to operate a commercial vehicle – Excellent driving skills with a strong focus on safety – Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations – Ability to lift heavy objects and load/unload stock if needed – Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment Benefits: Excellent pay rates Flexible working days Option of nights or days If you have the necessary qualifications and are looking to join our agency get in touch today!
