About the Role

At Enfuse Group, Manager – Operating Model roles are accountable for leading the design and delivery of high‑quality, end‑to‑end operating model engagements that translate strategy into tangible, lasting change. They combine strong technical expertise in operating model and organisation design with a human‑centred approach, ensuring that strategy, structure, governance, capability, technology, data and ways of working come together in a practical, adoptable manner that delivers real outcomes.

As core members of the Operating Model team, Managers work across sectors and capabilities to shape propositions, contribute to thought leadership, develop frameworks and support the creation of compelling client offers. They play an active role in business development, supporting proposal development and helping convert opportunities into impactful engagements.

Managers also build and develop high‑performing teams, acting as role models, coaching and mentoring others, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment, and ensuring that people are engaged, supported and able to perform at their best. They operate confidently in client environments, building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, facilitating decision‑making and guiding organisations through ambiguity and complexity. They bring together delivery, leadership and commercial awareness to contribute to the growth and maturity of Enfuse’s Operating Model capability, both internally and in the market.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Lead operating model design and delivery that drives real change: Lead end‑to‑end operating model engagements, from strategy to delivery. Translate strategic ambition into practical, actionable design choices across all operating model lenses with solutions grounded in organisational reality, focused on adoption, behavioural change and delivering outcomes.
  • Design with people at the centre: Embed human‑centred thinking throughout operating model design, ensuring that changes are practical, inclusive and sustainable in real organisational contexts. Consider behaviours, leadership, culture and capability alongside structural and process changes and shape approaches that enable organisations to improve how people work, lead and collaborate day to day.
  • Lead clients through ambiguity and decision‑making: Build trusted relationships with stakeholders and guide clients through complex challenges. Facilitate workshops, challenge thinking constructively and support clients to navigate trade‑offs and make informed decisions.
  • Deliver high‑quality, insight‑led outcomes: Structure and lead problem‑solving that draws on data, evidence and experience to inform recommendations. Develop robust outputs ensuring a consistent focus on value, tangible outcomes and implementation feasibility.
  • Lead and develop teams: Lead and develop teams and create a supportive, high‑performing and inclusive environment where individuals can grow and do their best work. Role‑model Enfuse values in how you lead, collaborate and deliver.
  • Contribute to business development and growth: Support proposals, pitches and client conversations, and identify opportunities to extend or deepen engagements through strong delivery and proactive thinking.
  • Build and evolve our capability: Build and evolve our capability by contributing to the development of Enfuse IP, frameworks and tools, sharing knowledge and continuously improving how we design and deliver operating model work.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong operating model practitioner: You have solid experience in operating model, organisation design and/or broader transformation roles, with a clear understanding of how strategy translates into structure, governance, capability and ways of working.
  • Experienced leading change: You don’t just design solutions; you think about how they land. You understand the importance of behaviour, leadership and culture, and you design with people in mind from the start.
  • Stakeholder management: You build credibility quickly, manage stakeholders effectively and are comfortable facilitating discussions, challenging perspectives and guiding decisions with senior stakeholders.
  • People‑focused leader: You are committed to creating an environment where people can grow and perform at their best.
  • Commercially aware: You understand how consulting works commercially, contribute to proposals and spot opportunities to grow client relationships.

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Experience in operating model, organisation design and/or broader transformation roles
  • Experience leading workstreams or smaller engagements in consulting or similar environments
  • Exposure to operating model design across areas such as governance, structure, capability, ways of working or transformation delivery
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders and navigating complex, ambiguous environments
  • Experience supporting proposals, business development or client account growth
  • Experience managing or coaching others on engagements
  • Experience developing internal methods, toolkits, frameworks or thought leadership
  • Eligible to work in the United Kingdom

Desirable

  • Sector experience in one or more of the following: Travel & Transport, Retail & Hospitality, Public Sector, Higher Education or Financial Services
  • Experience in digital, data or AI‑enabled operating model transformation
  • Experience supporting implementation or transition following operating model design
