Job Description:

We’re looking for a skilled and detail‑oriented Test Analyst to join our IT & Change team. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high‑quality software solutions within a collaborative and forward‑thinking environment.

Hours: Full time

Salary: £40,000

Location: Blackpool / ad‑hoc working from home

Status: Permanent

The Role

As part of the team, you’ll be involved in testing activities across the full Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC), working closely with colleagues to ensure solutions are reliable, effective, and fit for purpose.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute functional and non‑functional testing across a range of projects
  • Contribute to test planning, estimation, and test case design
  • Build, maintain, and execute manual and automated regression test suites
  • Support and develop automation testing using Leapwork (or similar tools)
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure quality outcomes
  • Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities
  • Log, track, and manage defects through to resolution
  • Collaborate with IT, Change, and business teams throughout delivery
  • Follow and promote testing standards, best practices, and governance
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and frameworks

Essential Requirements

  • Experience working across the Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC)
  • Experience creating and executing test cases and test plans
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies
  • Good analytical and problem‑solving skills

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience testing Salesforce platforms
  • ISTQB Foundation (or higher) certification
  • Experience working on transformation or change programmes
  • Experience working with third‑party suppliers
  • Understanding of project delivery practices
  • Exposure to automation testing (ideally with no/low‑code tools)
