A well-established main contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality mixed-use, commercial, and student accommodation developments across London up to the value of around £200M is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join its growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity to lead the delivery of complex projects from pre-construction through to completion, working within a business known for its collaborative culture, repeat client base, and successful delivery of challenging schemes in constrained urban environments.
The Role
- Lead the successful delivery of projects from inception through to handover
- Manage project teams, including Site Managers, Engineers, commercial teams, and subcontractors
- Take ownership of programme, quality, health & safety, and commercial performance
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners
- Drive project delivery in line with business objectives and client expectations
- Chair project meetings and provide regular progress reporting to senior management
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
About You
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager within a main contracting environment
- Strong track record delivering residential, mixed-use, commercial, PBSA, or high-rise developments
- Experience managing projects from pre-construction through to practical completion
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Strong commercial awareness and programme management capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams within fast-paced construction environments
- Degree qualified or relevant construction qualifications preferred
