Plant Manager / Production Director

This is a 6,000 headcount multinational business operating in the medical device, chemical engineering, electronics, and aerospace sectors.

We are seeking a highly experienced Plant Manager or Site Manager / Operations Director-level leader to take full responsibility for a complex, 24/7 manufacturing operation within a highly regulated, precision engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Full site accountability, overseeing production, engineering, supply chain, logistics, quality, and Health, Safety & Environment performance.
• Manage a 60 headcount business unit within a 24/7, small batch, bespoke, complex, and regulated manufacturing setting.
• Ensure compliance with high quality standards in highly regulated manufacturing environments.

Qualifications & Experience

• Strong background in chemical, engineering, electronics, semiconductor, or similarly regulated manufacturing (medical, oil and gas, aero, etc.).
• Leadership experience in complex manufacturing environments with high quality standards.
• Strong Lean / CI track record; Six Sigma certification desirable.
• Experience in highly regulated manufacturing environments; exposure to clean rooms beneficial.
• Within 1 hour of Kirkcaldy / Glenrothes region (commutable). Flexible location near Kirkcaldy, with possibility of one day work from home.

Salary & Benefits

£105,000 – £115,000 + 10% bonus + 8% pension. Bonus is consistent so earnings well over £120,000.

Location

Near Kirkcaldy; commutable from Dundee, Dunfermline, Edinburgh, Perth, Falkirk, Glasgow, Cumbernauld, Livingston. 1x day work from home possibility.
