Position Overview

We are looking for a Group Legal & Compliance Manager to join our business in London. As part of this role, you will be supporting our General Counsel and the wider Legal & Compliance infrastructure that supports the Advania Group. This is a rare opportunity to work at the top of an expanding, private‑equity backed IT organisation.

The role would suit a candidate who is comfortable with working autonomously within a wider group setting, and who is also comfortable working across both the day‑to‑day reality and the broader strategic picture.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Group General Counsel in delivering legal, compliance, business ethics, and governance activities across the Group.
  • Manage selected compliance and business ethics areas to ensure adherence to relevant regulations and standards.
  • Oversee the management of the Group’s domain name and trademark portfolio, ensuring proper registration and protection.
  • Provide legal operations and governance support to enhance the efficiency of the Group Legal function.
  • Administer legal documentation and coordination for compliance‑related activities, including KYC and due diligence processes.
  • Facilitate contract and records management, ensuring accurate and accessible documentation.
  • Coordinate electronic signature processes and related legal operations support.
  • Engage with stakeholders at all levels to communicate legal and compliance issues effectively.
  • Implement effective compliance strategies based on strong analytical skills and an understanding of compliance regulations.
  • Ensure sanctions compliance and anti‑corruption measures are upheld within the organisation.
  • Coordinate the Compliance Forum to foster a culture of compliance across the Group.
  • Develop and maintain structured approaches to domain name and trademark management, enhancing visibility and accountability within the Group.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Significant experience in compliance, business ethics, or legal operations within a corporate environment.
  • In‑depth understanding of compliance regulations, ethical frameworks, and corporate governance principles.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop and implement effective compliance strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects efficiently with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel internationally, where required.
