Service Care Solutions are recruiting for experienced Project Support Officers to work on a full‑time, long‑term contract based in Lincoln. The role is paying£15.72p per hour (PAYE) and will involve hybrid working. The role involves working with a UK based Police Force, so applicants must be able to pass through a security background check.
Duties
- Provide day‑to‑day support to the Project Manager to help deliver key milestones on time, to scope and within budget.
- Support creation and maintenance of project plans (including Gantt charts), trackers and reporting.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, ensuring consistency with PRINCE2 approaches.
- Support risk, issue, change control and configuration management activities.
- Coordinate actions, resources and project communications;escalate issues and support corrective actions where needed.
- Liaise with stakeholders (including senior officers and partners), arrange meetings, produce minutes and follow up actions.
- Carry out research and provide timely information to support decision‑making.
Essential Experience
- Recent experience in a project support / PMO / project coordination role (project management experience beneficial).
- Good working knowledge of project tools and structured methodology (PRINCE2 desirable).
- Strong organisation and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Confident written and verbal communication skills (including minutes, updates and reports).
- Proven stakeholder management skills and a proactive, detail‑focused approach.
