An established and growing engineering organisation is seeking a Procurement Manager to establish and lead procurement within the business.

This is a standalone, newly created role offering the opportunity to design and implement procurement strategy, introduce structure, and support ongoing business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategy, processes, and controls
• Take ownership of supplier relationships and performance
• Lead sourcing, negotiation, and contract management activity
• Identify cost reduction and value enhancement opportunities
• Partner with stakeholders across the business to support operations
• Support the organisation as it expands into new markets

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience in procurement within a technical, engineering, or manufacturing environment
• Experience setting up or improving procurement processes
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Able to work autonomously and take ownership of a function

Additional Information

• Office-based role, strong preference for on-site working
• Initial 6-month contract with potential to become permanent
