Overview
At Babcock, you will play a leading role in supporting advanced defence, intelligence and cyber capabilities by ensuring our facilities at the Tewkesbury site operate safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team to deliver high‑quality facilities services across multiple sites
- Oversee compliance with health, safety and infrastructure standards in complex engineering environments
- Manage operational budgets and ensure cost‑effective delivery of facilities services
- Drive facilities projects and improvements, including upgrades to specialist labs and infrastructure
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and senior leaders
Essential Experience
- Strong technical background in facilities management within complex environments
- In‑depth knowledge of health, safety and compliance standards
- Experience managing building infrastructure and planned maintenance frameworks (knowledge of SFG20 desirable)
- Leadership and team development, with the ability to delegate effectively and think strategically
- Confident communication with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior leaders and customers
Qualifications
- IWFM Level 3 or 4 qualification (or equivalent) desirable
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance (can start with Security Check). Many positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and trade control restrictions.
