Pastoral Manager

Temporary Contract – 37 hours per week, term time plus 2 weeks

Salary Scale E Point 7-11. £26,403 – £28,142 (paid pro rata)

Actual Salary £23,191 – £24,719

Start – September 2026

The Trustees and Governors of Sprowston Community Academy are seeking to employ an enthusiastic and dedicated professional to work within our Pastoral Department.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Associate Leader of Behaviour, Behaviour Leads of KS3/4, Heads of Year, Form Tutors, Pupil Premium and SEN Teams to support the academic well‑being, achievement, attendance and behaviour of students.
  • Work within the Pastoral Department to support the learning and behaviour of students who have been removed from lessons in accordance with the school discipline policy and procedure and to provide intervention as necessary to support progress.
  • Communicate directly with parents, guardians and carers in relation to progress, behaviour, safety, attendance and well‑being concerns.
