Job Title: Alumni Manager

Office Location: London

Department: Marketing & Business Development

Working Hours: 35 hours per week, 9:30am to 5:30pm (hybrid working up to 40% home, 60% office)

Role Overview

The Alumni Manager works with the Director of Alumni Relations (New York) to shape and implement strategies for engaging and maintaining relationships with the alumni network, focusing on London and broader EMEA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support a comprehensive alumni engagement strategy across the globe, especially in key EMEA offices.
  • Reinvigorate the alumni program in EMEA, creating a consistent experience.
  • Manage and promote the alumni brand and community benefits, fostering a sense of community through engagement activities.
  • Promote and support the alumni opt‑in process to maintain an accurate and up‑to‑date database.
  • Oversee EMEA alumni data management, identify gaps, recommend improvements, and partner with internal stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary EMEA lead for the Alumni Network website, overseeing content strategy, maintenance, registration and engagement.
  • Create a regional communications plan and lead on newsletters, emails, and social media updates.
  • Help manage and grow the firm’s digital presence via LinkedIn, the website, and create LinkedIn campaigns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify alumni involvement opportunities across EMEA.
  • Plan, coordinate, and promote alumni events and knowledge networking events.
  • Drive direct engagement with alumni, providing career development and networking resources.
  • Create engagement plans with alumni at key client accounts.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Marketing & Business Development, ideally with alumni relations and campaign leadership. Law firm or professional services experience is a plus.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organisational and project management abilities.
  • Proficient with CRM systems and relevant software.
  • Experience managing social media accounts and creating engaging content.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
