We are hiring for Observability Platform Architect / Engineer (Cloud Observability & Monitoring – SC Cleared)
Location : Hybrid – London / Reading / Birmingham / Manchester (Multiple Location)
- Extensive experience architecting and engineering secure, resilient logging and observability solutions within Defence, government, or highly regulated, multi-tenant classified environments projects.
- Deep experience scaling, indexing, and optimizing data stores designed for high-velocity logging, such as Prometheus, InfluxDB, OpenSearch, Cassandra, or ClickHouse.
- Proven skill in designing distributed telemetry pathways utilizing OpenTelemetry (OTel), Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, Datadog, or SolarWinds to monitor complex hybrid cloud infrastructures.
- Direct experience authoring robust High-Level Designs (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD) aligned with TOGAF, NCSC guidelines, and NIST security principles (such as explicit trust boundaries and zoning).
- Strong working knowledge of secure platform engineering across Linux (RHEL), Windows Server, Kubernetes (K8s), and cloud/virtualized environments, driven by automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, or PowerShell.
- Hands-on expertise with enterprise-scale deployment, pipeline aggregation, and dashboarding using the AWS CloudWatch agents / Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Beats) and/or Splunk Enterprise (including UBA) Apache Kafka, Apache NiFi, Logstash alternatives (like Vector.dev or Cribl Stream)
- Mastery of building complex, real-time tracking dashboards and writing structured query metrics in Grafana, Datadog, Dynatrace, or New Relic maps directly to constructing workflows in Kibana or Splunk Web.
