Senior Security Systems Engineer – £45,000 ‑ £55,000 – Surrey

Salary & Benefits

• £45,000 – £55,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
• Full‑time, permanent position (Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30)
• Coverage: Surrey, Berkshire, Reading, Southampton & London
• Company vehicle and mobile phone provided
• Paid travel time after 30 minutes each way
• Paid on‑call and overtime
• Call out rota 1 in 5 (1 in 4/5 weeks)

Role & Responsibilities

• Service, fault‑finding, installation, and repair of CCTV, Access Control, and Alarm systems.
• Managing commissioning, upgrades, and fault resolution across multiple sites.
• Working on commercial, educational, and council contracts, including universities.
• Participating in an on‑call rota.
• Covering projects across the South East, focusing on Surrey, Berkshire, Reading, Southampton, and London.
• Working with a range of security systems including LenelS2, AMAG, Hanwha, Wisenet, Genetec, Nedap, ARX, Salto, Hikvision, Paxton, Guetebruck, Mayflex, Milestone, and more.

Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience with security systems.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and fault‑finding abilities.
• Experience with service, installation, commissioning, and upgrades.
• Familiarity with a wide range of CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible approach to work, including on‑call support.
