I’m working with a fast‑growing technology‑driven trading firm looking to hire a Junior Platform Engineer to support a globally distributed, high‑performance infrastructure environment powering real‑time data and trading operations.

This is an opportunity to join a highly technical team working across multi‑cloud infrastructure, Linux systems, networking, automation, and platform reliability within a fast‑paced environment.

What you’ll be working on

• Supporting a 24×7 global infrastructure environment across cloud and on‑prem systems
• Improving platform performance, automation, and operational processes
• Working closely with development and infrastructure teams on architecture and scalability
• Managing infrastructure across multi‑region / multi‑cloud environments
• Linux and network stack optimisation, tuning, and production support
• Contributing to automation and reducing manual operational overhead

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering
• Strong AWS and networking experience in production environments
• Linux systems administration and troubleshooting expertise
• Scripting or coding experience with Bash, Python, Java, C#, Rust, or VBA
• Understanding of infrastructure performance tuning and reliability engineering

Nice to have

• Monitoring & observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk)
