Role
We’re looking for experienced Mobile Engineers (Android) to help design, build, and maintain high-quality mobile applications used by millions of users worldwide.
This is an opportunity to go beyond simply delivering features — you’ll play a key role in shaping products, influencing technical direction, and driving innovation within a collaborative, high-performing team.
- 2 days a week in office, near Manchester
- Initial 3-month contract (possibility of extension)
The Role
You’ll join a cross-functional product team working alongside engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver impactful user experiences and scalable technical solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing, building, and maintaining high-quality Android applications
- Collaborating closely with product and design teams to shape solutions
- Contributing to technical design, planning, and estimation
- Supporting applications across the full lifecycle (build → release → production)
- Driving modern engineering practices in a remote-first, agile environment
- Proven experience with Jetpack Compose
- Deep understanding of modern Android architecture patterns and state management
- Experience working on large-scale, production-grade mobile applications
- Experience with CI/CD and modern delivery practices
- Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams
- Comfortable working closely with product/design to shape user-focused outcomes
- Strong communicator and team player
- Passion for building high-quality user experiences
- Someone who wants to make an impact, not just ship tickets
