Role Description
The Grant Applications AI Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in London, responsible for designing and managing AI-driven processes to identify, evaluate, and prepare grant applications that support Partnerships.Community’s projects and initiatives. Day-to-day, this role involves building and refining AI workflows to scan grant databases, analyze eligibility criteria, and prioritize opportunities aligned with the organization’s values and strategic goals. The role includes drafting and reviewing grant proposals, coordinating input from internal stakeholders, and ensuring applications are accurate, compelling, and compliant with funder requirements. The Grant Applications AI Lead will collaborate closely with finance, operations, and program leads to align funding strategies with budgets, timelines, and project roadmaps. This position also requires monitoring performance data, optimizing AI tools and processes, and reporting on outcomes to help scale the organization’s impact.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills to interpret grant criteria, evaluate opportunities, and optimize AI-driven workflows.
- Demonstrated expertise in proposal writing, with experience crafting clear, persuasive, and well-structured grant applications.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and present complex information in accessible ways.
- Budgeting skills to align grant proposals with financial plans, resource needs, and project constraints.
- Advanced research skills to identify relevant funding sources, understand funder priorities, and gather evidence to strengthen applications.
- Experience working with AI tools, data analysis platforms, or automation systems in a funding, nonprofit, or partnerships context is highly beneficial.
- Background in grant management, fundraising, or program development within community, arts, advocacy, or social impact organizations is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Data Science, Public Policy, Communications, or related discipline).
