Role Overview
Drive Digital Transformation in Defence Engineering. This role will allow you to influence technology direction, enhance digital capabilities, and make a real impact on national security while advancing your career in a dynamic, purpose‑driven environment. You will work at the Babcock Technology Centre or Leicester, Radar Road sites.
Responsibilities
- Develop digital strategies and roadmaps aligned with programme objectives.
- Represent the programme in client and internal meetings.
- Identify opportunities to enhance digital delivery and ensure governance and documentation are in place.
- Oversee daily support for digital engineering tools, applications, and issue resolution.
- Coordinate with corporate IT and stakeholders to ensure effective planning and delivery.
Essential Experience
- Proven experience managing complex IT systems, infrastructure, and enterprise platforms.
- Expertise in IT governance, service management (ITSM), and compliance frameworks.
- Proficiency in cloud technologies, system integration, and digital transformation.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s or professional certifications preferred).

The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
