Job Description – Business Systems Analyst (Cardiology PACS) (2351250)

As a Business Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for creating and delivering high quality system solutions for our applications, products and services across all technology functions. You will consult with users and technology specialists to define business processes and the information systems that support those processes. You may perform analysis, serve as business liaison to understand and refine business requirements, and provide technical support in developing cost‑effective systems that meet user needs. This role supports current system improvements and maintenance along with new system development.
Primary Responsibilities
- Application training for customers
- Echo reporting configuration and training for customers
- Haemo, Cath Reporting and BCIS data entry configuration and training for customers
- Workflow customization and design for hospital customers
- Work closely with customers to benchmark, design, plan and implement optimal Haemodynamic and Cardiac Clinical Reporting solutions
- Support the installation, servicing and repair of complex clinical equipment and systems
- Check and approve operational quality of system equipment prior to clinical use
- Instruct customers in operation and maintenance of the system
- Serve as company liaison with customers on clinical and technical matters for assigned projects
- Resolve clinical/technical problems, analyze and evaluate issues that may occur during implementation
- Test, benchmark and verify that the implemented system is error free and functional prior to delivery to the customer
Travel: At least 50% travel is required between Ireland and UK sites; international travel to the US may be required on an exceptional basis. An individual must have a valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle. Occasional weekend work to support clients Go Live may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of an undergraduate degree in IT/Health Sciences or equivalent experience
- Proven clinical cardiology experience with NHS and/or HSE
- Proven experience in Haemo, Cath and ECG
- Proven experience in an IT/Cardiology setting, with considerable experience training individuals/groups within previous roles
- Demonstrable experience working in teams to deliver change projects resulting in clinically improved outcomes
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Visio, PowerPoint
- Excellent communication and listening skills with an ability to transform customer requirements into deliverable actions
