Main Duties
- Protect customers and colleagues from physical and verbal abuse by providing a reassuring and professional security presence.
- Maintain a highly visible security presence that is easily identified by customers and colleagues while delivering an exceptional level of customer service.
- Proactively deter and prevent anti‑social behaviour, theft and criminal activity.
- Liaise with store management, police and other external agencies when required.
- Use conflict resolution techniques to diffuse difficult situations that may arise within the workplace.
- Identify and rectify behaviours and situations that endanger the health, safety and well‑being of colleagues, customers and fellow officers in a timely manner in line with company policies.

- Conflict resolution training.
- Frontline door supervision or security guarding licence essential; CCTV licence beneficial.
- Full UK driving licence and own transport beneficial.
- Uses BWCCTV effectively during confrontational situations.
