Data Governance Analyst – Metadata – Permanent – Eastleigh (Hybrid) – £60,000.
I’m looking for a Data Governance Analyst – Metadata to join a growing data governance function, supporting the development and delivery of metadata capabilities across enterprise platforms. You’ll work with modern tooling such as Collibra and Databricks Unity Catalog, helping improve data discoverability, quality and governance across the organisation.
Responsibilities
This role involves working closely with data owners and stewards, enhancing metadata processes, promoting best practice, and translating technical governance into clear business value. You’ll also contribute to automation and continuous improvement of governance processes.
Ideal Experience
- Strong understanding of data governance and metadata management
- Experience in a data governance role (ideally financial services)
- Hands‑on experience with Collibra or similar tools
- Familiarity with Databricks Unity Catalog
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement
