Manager / Senior Manager – Data Management

CAPGEMINI INVENT is a leading transformation consultancy focused on delivering AI‑driven solutions. Our Data & AI Strategy team is seeking dedicated consultants to help clients build, scale, and embed AI capabilities across their organisations.

YOUR ROLE

• Lead the architecture and development of scalable, secure and cost‑efficient data, analytics, and AI platforms using leading cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Implement modern hybrid data architectures (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery) and drive migration of legacy systems to cloud‑native solutions.
• Create Proof of Concepts and Minimum Viable Products for advanced analytics and AI platforms, aligning them with enterprise objectives and delivering measurable business value.
• Build and streamline data pipelines, infrastructure provisioning, and deployments using DevOps practices, CI/CD, and Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Shape the vision for enterprise data platforms, develop architecture blueprints, roadmaps, and communication plans that engage stakeholders and drive adoption.
• Champion user‑centric design and storytelling to create compelling data platform solutions, ensuring consistency, compliance, and scalability.
• Experiment with new AI and automation technologies to accelerate delivery and drive innovation for clients and our business.

In addition, you will contribute to business development, internal knowledge creation, and learning & development activities.

Technology & Consulting Experience

• Strategic leadership in data, analytics, and AI architecture; end‑to‑end solutions enabling AI/ML workloads.
• 10+ years in data technologies and architecture with consulting experience.
• 6+ years designing, implementing, and managing cloud‑based architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern data solutions (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Synapse).
• At least three intermediate‑level cloud certifications and expertise in cloud‑native AI data architectures.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure‑as‑Code (Terraform, ARM Templates, Google Deployment Manager) and DevOps practices, including networking, security, and identity management for AI use cases.
• Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes and modern architecture patterns such as Data Mesh and Data Fabric.
• Experience migrating legacy systems to cloud‑native data stores.
• Strong consulting and commercial acumen – project scoping, budgeting, and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
• Security Clearance – SC Cleared / Eligible.

Desirable Experience

• Domain experience in UK public sector, BFSI, CPRD, telecoms, and transport.
• Knowledge of cloud cost‑management tools and best practices to optimise spend.
• Proven track record of applying Agile methodologies and leading cross‑functional teams to deliver complex data and AI solutions.
