Position Overview
We are hiring for a Senior Software QA / Developer within the Software and Driver Development Team at Oxford Instruments Andor. The role spans software and driver development, quality and test strategy, product requirements management, and support for customers and manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications
The Senior Software QA Developer Will Have:
- BSc/BEng qualification in Electrical and Electronic/Software Engineering/Physics or equivalent relevant qualification OR equivalent relevant experience
- At least 5 years’ experience in
- Software QA and/or Software developer role
- source control
- object orientated design using industry standard techniques and tools
- Proficient at developing test cases and test plans based on system requirements
- Proficient at scripting and programming
- Experience in the product development lifecycle from requirements gathering to test and support.
We are also open to candidates applying at the Software/QA Developer level if they do not meet the Senior criteria.
Employment Details
Permanent position based at our Belfast headquarters, offering a hybrid working model.
