We are seeking a highly analytical finance professional to join our fast‑paced, exciting, once in a generation FCAS Portfolio Office Team and confidently lead the interface with our international partners and external stakeholders on key financial reporting matters.

Job Description

The successful candidate will act as a trusted representative of the business, ensuring reporting is robust, defensible and appropriately contextualised—safeguarding the organisation while maintaining strong customer relationships. This role is expected to work closely within the G2E Domain headquartered in Reading, with an expectation of on‑site working within the Reading office at least three times a week.

What You Will Do As Senior Price Analyst

  • Financial Analysis & Reporting
    • Deliver high‑quality financial reporting, analysis and insight with a strong focus on accuracy, consistency and transparency.
    • Interpret complex financial data and translate it into clear, structured narratives suitable for customer consumption.
    • Ensure all reported figures are fully reconcilable, supportable and aligned with internal governance standards.
  • Customer & Stakeholder Interface
    • Lead customer‑facing discussions related to financial performance, cost drivers, variances, forecasts and contractual financial mechanisms.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for financial reporting queries, challenges and escalations from customers.
    • Confidently explain financial outcomes while managing expectations and preventing misinterpretation or misrepresentation of data.
  • Narrative & Messaging Control
    • Shape and control the financial narrative to ensure messaging aligns with company strategy, contractual position and risk appetite.
    • Provide context and commentary that balances transparency with appropriate protection of the business.
    • Ensure consistency of messaging across customers, senior leadership and internal forums.
  • Governance, Risk & Protection
    • Ensure all financial communications are compliant with contractual, regulatory and internal policy requirements.
    • Identify and manage financial reporting risks, including exposure arising from customer interpretation or challenge.
    • Partner closely with Legal, Commercial and Senior Finance stakeholders to protect the company’s position in external discussions.

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong analytical capability with proven experience in financial analysis, reporting and performance management.
  • Experience leading customer‑facing or external‑facing financial discussions.
  • Ability to translate detailed financial information into clear, structured and defensible narratives.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of financial risk.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to challenge constructively and manage difficult conversations.
  • High attention to detail with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.

Desirable Skills And Experience

  • Experience in contract‑based, project‑based or regulated environments.
  • Exposure to customer audits, financial governance forums or contractual financial reviews.
