Senior Finance Manager

Senior Finance Manager | London | Hybrid

We are partnered with a well known, technology-led financial services business looking to appoint a technically strong Senior Finance Manager to join its expanding finance function.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA-qualified accountant with a strong technical accounting background who enjoys operating across external reporting, IFRS, statutory accounts and business partnering within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of statutory financial statements and external reporting.
• Collaborate closely with FP&A, Legal and senior stakeholders across the business.
• Provide technical accounting guidance across complex business transactions and new commercial initiatives.
• Produce technical accounting papers and support accounting policy development.
• Partner with auditors throughout the year-end audit process.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and evolving regulatory requirements.
• Strengthen financial reporting controls and governance across the finance function.
• Support month-end reporting activities and wider finance projects.

About You

• ACA qualified with a strong technical accounting foundation.
• Background in practice (ideally from Big 4) with post-qualified experience in industry.
• Excellent knowledge of IFRS and statutory reporting.
• Experience preparing technical accounting papers and interpreting accounting standards.
• Financial services, lending or fintech experience would be advantageous.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical accounting concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
