The Opportunity

EY-Parthenon’s Financial Services Strategy team is looking to expand by recruiting Engagement Managers (senior manager). The role involves working with clients such as banks, insurers, payments providers, wealth and asset managers, and FinTechs, advising on strategy development and corporate/private equity opportunities.

Our Work

  • Commercial Due Diligence – Conduct market size, growth and competitor analysis, assess revenue forecasts and determine the commercial and strategic merit of proposed invest‑acquisition or best‑sell opportunities.
  • Corporate Strategy – Support financial institutions in defining strategic priorities and action plans in areas including growth, product strategy, new market entry and cost/bottom‑line optimisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage project teams of 4–10 consultants.
  • Lead project workstreams for development and implementation of strategic recommendations.
  • Manage client relationships and ensure high‑quality deliverables.
  • Define key issues, conduct analysis, and synthesize findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Mentor junior team members and support their professional growth.
  • Identify and pursue new client opportunities, prepare proposals, and participate in pitch meetings.
  • Collaborate with other EY service lines to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and manage risks.
  • Contribute to EY-Parthenon’s knowledge base and thought leadership.
  • Create an inclusive culture in the team and engagements.

Qualifications

  • At least 6 years of relevant work experience.
  • Prior strategy consulting experience, preferably with commercial due diligence or strong commercial and transaction experience.
  • Relevant sector experience in Financial Services (banking, insurance, wealth and asset management, etc.).
  • Credible project‑management experience and ability to deliver under tight deadlines.
  • Analytical experience in market sizing, competitor analysis and performance assessment.
