Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of their client for a talented and commercially focused Financial Planning & Analytics Analyst to join a growing Head Office team in Plymouth. This is a fantastic opportunity for an analytical professional to play a key role in driving business performance and influencing strategic decisions within a fast‑paced environment. You will support key departments including Finance, Buying, Loss Prevention, and Floor Planning, helping to protect and improve profitability across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse pricing and trading reports, identifying trends and resolving discrepancies
• Manage retail pricing and promotional activity, ensuring alignment with margin targets
• Review purchase orders to protect margins and highlight risks
• Monitor supplier trends and cost changes
• Evaluate store and department performance to identify optimisation opportunities
• Support product range reviews, stock clearance, and store initiatives
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to support decision‑making
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders across multiple departments

About You

• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Confident communicator, able to present insights clearly
• Proactive and collaborative approach
• Degree in a relevant field or 2+ years’ experience in finance, analytics, or similar
• Experience working with large data sets and problem‑solving
