Role Description
The Pharmacist Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Brighton Hill Pharmacy in Basingstoke. This role oversees day-to-day pharmacy operations, including safe and accurate dispensing of prescriptions, clinical checks, and supervision of pharmacy technicians and support staff. The Pharmacist Manager ensures compliance with pharmacy regulations, company policies, and best practices in medication safety and immunization services. Responsibilities include managing inventory, handling controlled substances appropriately, and maintaining accurate records. The role also involves providing patient counseling, addressing clinical queries, supporting public health initiatives, and fostering a positive, efficient work environment while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications
- Demonstrated proficiency in Pharmacy and Pharmacy Practice, with comprehensive knowledge of dispensing processes and medication safety.
- Experience overseeing Pharmacy Technicians and supporting a collaborative, performance-focused team environment.
- Strong skills in managing Prescription workflows, including clinical verification, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to provide Immunization services in accordance with current guidelines, with attention to patient safety and documentation.
- Current pharmacist license/registration in good standing, with authorization to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Previous experience in a pharmacy management or lead pharmacist role within a community or retail pharmacy setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centered approach and ability to handle sensitive patient interactions.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision‑making abilities, including managing workflows, staffing, and inventory.
- Commitment to ethical practice, continuous professional development, and adherence to all legal and professional standards.
