Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Nursing Lecturer / Course Manager to support students through veterinary nursing programmes at our Gateshead campus. This role will be worked part‑time on a fixed‑term basis.
Responsibilities
- Plan, develop and deliver teaching across veterinary nursing programmes (levels 2‑6)
- Organise course and module activities, including assessment, grading and student support
- Collaborate with the Veterinary Nursing Department/Team on curriculum design and improvement
- Provide subject‑area expertise and guidance to students in both educational and clinical settings
Qualifications and Experience
- Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)
- Degree level or above in a relevant subject
- Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one
- Excellent knowledge and breadth of clinical veterinary nursing fields
- Experience supporting veterinary nursing students in educational or clinical environments
