Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Nursing Lecturer / Course Manager to support students through veterinary nursing programmes at our Gateshead campus. This role will be worked part‑time on a fixed‑term basis.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop and deliver teaching across veterinary nursing programmes (levels 2‑6)
  • Organise course and module activities, including assessment, grading and student support
  • Collaborate with the Veterinary Nursing Department/Team on curriculum design and improvement
  • Provide subject‑area expertise and guidance to students in both educational and clinical settings

Qualifications and Experience

  • Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)
  • Degree level or above in a relevant subject
  • Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one
  • Excellent knowledge and breadth of clinical veterinary nursing fields
  • Experience supporting veterinary nursing students in educational or clinical environments
