Veterinary Surgeon Vacancy – BRIGHTON, East Sussex (to £55K)

Overview

We are now recruiting for a Veterinary Surgeon to join an established, successful small animal veterinary practice in the sought after coastal city of BRIGHTON.

Responsibilities

• Excellent full time opportunity working 4 days a week including some weekends on a rota.
• Practice is established, successful and equipped with advanced diagnostic and surgical technology; CT, ultrasound, digital x‑ray, laparoscopy, rigid and flexible endoscopy, in‑house laboratory etc.
• Interesting and varied role includes 2 days a week based at the Hospital and 2 days each week at the branch practice.
• Fantastic development opportunity with good exposure to both first opinion GP work managing your own consultations and routine surgeries and a diverse hospital caseload, ranging from emergencies to more advanced medical cases.
• Ideally you will already have experience in practice and be confident, and team‑orientated with excellent communication skills.
• You will be joining a fantastic hospital team that includes multiple certificate holders including orthopaedics, ophthalmology, advanced imaging and exotics.
• Fabulous location in a beautiful part of the country Brighton is well-known for being welcoming and diverse with a passion for culture, creativity and sustainability, The South Downs National Park is nearby and its just a short stroll to the sea.

Person Requirements

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent.
• Registered with the RCVS.
• Experience in practice.
• Confident, and team‑orientated.
• Excellent communication skills.

• Salary up to £55,000.00 per annum (subject to experience).
