About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and skilled Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly 60‑place nursery in Tower Hamlets. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate early years professional who is committed to delivering high‑quality care, supporting children’s learning and development, and creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment.

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting children’s daily routines, planning engaging activities, building strong relationships with families, and ensuring full compliance with EYFS and safeguarding requirements.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deliver high‑quality care – Provide warm, responsive and consistent care that supports children’s wellbeing and development.
  • Plan and deliver activities – Contribute to planning, preparing and leading stimulating, age‑appropriate learning experiences.
  • Support children’s development – Observe, assess and record children’s progress in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Safeguarding & compliance – Follow all safeguarding, health and safety and Ofsted requirements to maintain a safe environment.
  • Build positive relationships – Work closely with parents, carers and colleagues to support each child’s individual needs.
  • Room organisation – Help maintain an organised, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
  • Team collaboration – Work effectively with the nursery team, contributing to a supportive and professional culture.
  • Record keeping – Maintain accurate observations, reports and documentation in line with statutory requirements.

About You

  • Level 3 childcare qualification (or above).
  • Experience working in an early years setting.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding and child development.
  • Warm, caring and professional approach with children and families.
  • Good communication, teamwork and organisational skills.
  • Passionate about providing high‑quality early years education.
