Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon

Suffolk £36,000–£70,000 FTE DOE Full or Part-Time | 4-Day Week | 1 in 6 Saturday Mornings

The Opportunity

A well-established, RCVS-accredited small animal practice in Suffolk is looking to welcome a Veterinary Surgeon to its friendly and experienced team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a vet who enjoys a varied first-opinion caseload and is looking for a supportive environment where professional development, clinical freedom and work-life balance are genuinely valued. Whether you’re seeking full or part‑time hours, the practice is happy to tailor the role to suit the right candidate.

The Role

  • Full-time or part‑time permanent position
  • 36‑hour week over 4 days (full‑time)
  • Typical shifts: 8:30am–6:30pm
  • 1 in 6 Saturday mornings with time off in lieu
  • Opportunity to work from a single site or across multiple branches
  • Balanced caseload with consulting and surgery, tailored to your interests

About You

  • MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon with VetGDP completed
  • Confident with routine consults and surgery
  • Passionate about delivering high standards of patient care
  • A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills
  • Keen to continue developing clinically, with certificate support available

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary £36,000–£70,000 FTE depending on experience
